EDINorge imports and distributes HIDA products to the Norwegian market. That authentic, home-cooked flavour is now available in Norwegian grocery stores.

Mateo Hidalgo startet i 1954 med en enkel ambisjon: å lage sofritos med den ekte, hjemmelagde smaken som han visste fra sin Murcianske oppvekst. Det han skapte i en liten familiebedrift i Aljucer, ble grunnlaget for en av Spanias største saussuperbedrifter.
In 1954, Mateo Hidalgo started with one simple ambition: to make sofritos with the genuine home-cooked taste he knew from his Murcian upbringing. What he built in a small family business in Aljucer became the foundation of one of Spain’s great sauce manufacturers.

🏠 Det originale bygget / The original building
Den originale fabrikken i Aljucer, Murcia, bærer fortsatt “Mateo Hidalgo S.A.” på fasaden. Her begynte det hele – med håndlagde sofritos tilberedt over timer etter tradisjonelle oppskrifter fra regionen.
The original factory in Aljucer, Murcia, still bears “Mateo Hidalgo S.A.” on its facade. This is where it all started – with handmade sofritos prepared over hours following traditional regional recipes.
